Civic Association Members Meeting

• The Leafmore-Creek Park Hills Civic Association, Inc. (the "Civic Association") hereby notifies all members that the Civic Association will hold a members' meeting on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2019, AT 7:30 PM, at the Leafmore-Creek Park Club Clubhouse on Altamont Drive.  The meeting agenda will include the following:

   

• 1.      An overview of the mission, operation, and future projects of the Tucker-Northlake Community Improvement District and a briefing on recent and proposed commercial development in the Northlake Mall-Henderson Mill-Briarcliff-Northlake Parkway areas of the City of Tucker and Unincorporated DeKalb County by TNCID Executive Director Mr. Matthew Lee and
•  
• 2.      The opportunity for members to present their county-government or civic-related concerns and/or questions to DeKalb County District 2 Commissioner Jeff Rader.  Some of the topics or subjects that Commissioner Rader will or may address at the meeting include:

•  

• a.      Additional Sidewalks in L-CPH/Pedestrian Improvements from North Druid Hills Road and Spring Creek Road Intersection to Burnt Creek Road;
• b.      Pedestrian Safety in L-CPH;
• c.       Status of LaVista Road sidewalk Pangborn to Oak Grove Road;
• d.      Cut-through traffic;
• e.      Zoning/Annexation (Brookhaven/Chamblee/Doraville/Decatur);
• f.        Ethics;
• g.      SPLOST;
• h.      Crime/Police Presence;
• i.        New Residential Development;
• j.        New Commercial Development in or near District 2 of Unincorporated DeKalb -- particularly Clairmont-Briarcliff-Northeast Expressway/CHOA;
• k.      North DeKalb Mall;
• l.        Additional PATH and other trails, including link to the Brookhaven North Peachtree Creek Greenway;
• m.    Street/Road/Speed Hump Maintenance/Repaving (SPLOST) and
• n.      Water Billing.

All Civic Association members are invited and encouraged to attend this December 10, 2019 meeting.

The Civic Association has initiated and is continuing its 2020-2021 Membership Campaign.  If you have not yet renewed your existing membership, which expires December 31, 2019, or want to become a new member of the Civic Association, and/or you wish to make an optional donation to the Pinellas Area Restoration Committee ("PARC"), a section 501(c)(3) charitable organization that owns and maintains the W.
